Intimate COVID wedding in St. Clair, Michigan

Golden Hour Photography.JPG

Normally we classify Weddings by the beautiful seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. But this year Covid was a real, long, difficult season, that as I write this, we are still in.

These two young love birds found themselves right in the middle of it bu that did not stop them from getting married and making it beyond special.

The Wedding Ceremony was small, at a private home. We know that venues can bring great charm, but this truly brought such a comfortable and personal touch to the day.

This was by far one of the most romantic weddings we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. The love between this bride and groom filled the air, and emotions were high after their first intimate kiss and the I Dos were said. It’s moments like this that remind us you don’t need all the bells and whistles to fall in love and celebrate (don’t get us wrong- we like bells and whistles, and moody centerpiece candles, and delicious cake, and good music on the dance floor. But… this is beautiful too in such a unique way!)

The moment when we can all run off together, away from the wedding shenanigans, is where the real magic happens. It’s that quiet rainbow after the storm of an exciting ceremony. It’s where serious moments are candidly captured, the sweetest kisses are shared, and the best sunsets fill the frame.

Scroll down and take in some of the sweet moments we captured while hopping around St. Clair, Michigan.
